Cons
I had high hopes when I joined Capfront, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from positive. Despite the company's impressive reputation on paper, the reality is very different. Working under the leadership of the CEO has been an incredibly frustrating and demoralizing experience. The CEO's behavior is unacceptable and unbecoming of someone in such a high position. In addition to the use of foul language, the CEO lacks emotional intelligence and often disregards the feelings of the staff. Constructive feedback is rare, and instead, there’s a tendency to belittle employees publicly. This behavior has created a culture of fear. Additionally, management seems disconnected from the day-to-day technical challenges faced by the team. There is little effort to understand or address the struggles developers face, whether it’s outdated systems, lack of resources, or insufficient support. This results in a lack of motivation and high levels of frustration among the technical staff, who feel their concerns are ignored or brushed aside. The work-life balance is virtually non-existent. Employees are expected to work long hours, often beyond the standard 40-hour workweek, with no regard for personal time or well-being. When you do manage to take time off, you’re made to feel guilty about it. There is no flexibility in terms of remote work or flexible hours, which makes it challenging for employees to manage family or personal obligations. One of the most disappointing aspects of working at Capfront is the complete absence of cultural activities and team outings. It’s clear that the company prioritizes productivity over employee engagement, which has led to a lack of team morale and a very sterile work environment. In summary, if you're looking for a company that values its employees, promotes a positive work culture, and encourages growth, Capfront is not the place for you. My time here has been disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
