Pros

- learning the non profit world - great health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family

Cons

- poor communication all around from all levels of the organization - no work/life balance - senior staff would benefit from encouraging junior staff to step up - reduce the amount of meetings and just send an email - CEO needs to retire and let someone else take charge. Stuck in antiquated ways that are not progressing the institute at all. -high turnover and you have to wear like 5 hats for the underpaid salary that you get - if you speak about something you do not like be sure to get fired and without notice

Pros

Working at CRI has been an truly rewarding experience. The organization’s mission is inspiring, and it’s clear that leadership is deeply invested in creating meaningful impact while adapting to changes in the broader landscape. The pace is fast and dynamic, which keeps things exciting and challenging in the best way. In the past year especially, there’s been a noticeable investment in infrastructure and systems improvements. The organization is positioning itself thoughtfully for the future, and employees have opportunities to grow alongside that transformation.

Cons

As with any organization undergoing growth and modernization, there are occasional growing pains, new systems and processes take time to adopt and optimize. Communication can sometimes lag behind the speed of change.

Pros

If you want to be part of an organization dedicated to making a difference today and in the future, this is the place for you. I have worked here for over 22 years, and here are some reasons why I continue to support this organization: - The rich history and commitment to research funding - The dedicated staff - A healthy work-life balance and flexibility - An excellent benefits package Throughout my time at CRI, I have had the opportunity to interact with executives, fundraisers, and supporters, which has greatly contributed to my networking and professional growth. My department supervisor also offers valuable feedback and provides the freedom to explore new ways to develop and grow within my role.

Cons

As a small organization, I take pride in our strength and resilience. With the recent transition to new leadership, I am excited about the opportunities ahead. Given this change, it would not be appropriate to highlight any drawbacks associated with the previous administration, as they do not accurately represent our organization's current direction and potential. I believe in focusing on the future and the positive impact we can make moving forward.
