Pros
Work life balance is generally okay. Sufficient days off, and you can mostly go home at 3.
Cons
Management is cheap, shady, and loves to treat their employees like trash. You will find some employees are offered certain benefits in their contracts while others who should be entitled to that aren’t, and if you confront management about it they will fully acknowledge they cheated you out of it and will say there’s nothing they could do about it because you signed your contract. Spoiler: they can and will change contracts if it’s in their favour. The new principal is a complete embarrassment to the school. You can put a monkey in his place and it would genuinely do a better job. It’s to the point where even parents are commenting on his complete incompetence and unprofessionalism on school social media pages, which are promptly deleted. The school puts in absolutely no effort in building morale and motivating teachers to do their work efficiently. They have no problems showing you time and time again that you hold absolutely no value to them. The pay is okay but much lower than other private schools in the region. And again, they will try to cheat you out of certain allowances you are entitled to if they can. Everything the school does is for appearances and do not care what students are doing as long as they are not creating bad publicity for the school. You will have students getting into literal fist fights in class and there are barely any sort of consequences.
