Senior management likes to cut corners when it comes to pay for all wages across the country (head offices AND campus roles). For the work that is given to employees, the compensation does not fit. There is no actual strategic compensation plan put in place for the organization and its subsidiaries, therefore are very behind with the market standard.
There are also many WorkSafe issues surrounding bullying/harassment and how offices/campuses are not following COVID protocols specific to its region. Employees are pushed to come into the office despite the rising numbers of COVID cases.
Within the HR team, the majority of the work at an associate to mid level role consists of administration and paperwork. HR does not have a huge voice when it comes to developing better practices and support options for the employees. Senior level HR management are swamped with inquiries from all sides in the company. Most inquiries are to fix issues at the surface level rather than diving into the core issues at hand.
To add to the cons, employees are also "rewarded" when adding a positive review to the company's page. Do not believe the positive reviews.
