Pros

Talented people with a sincere focus on helping improve the landscape of health care.

Cons

Weak employee appreciation and engagement from leadership. Workload is not realistic and there is no appreciation for the extensive hard work individuals have to deliver to keep their heads above water. You are rewarded for good work by being given more work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I see that you are still working at Cambia, and I'm guessing from your review that your co-workers and our mission-drive approach help retain you. It sounds like our recognition and rewards, despite offering several different avenues, aren't working for you. If you have any specific ideas you want to share, let me know, okay? Pros

Some of the smartest bright-minded people in IT work there, or used to. Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

The company appears to be in a constant state of reorganization, creating ongoing uncertainty about job security and contributing to low employee morale. This lack of stability has led to confusion, shifting priorities, and an overall lack of focus, which is reflected in the high turnover currently seen within the IT organization. This is especially disappointing because the company was once known for attracting and retaining IT professionals who built long, successful careers there. Leadership appears to lack a clear, unified vision, and that disconnect starts at the highest levels of the organization. Compared with the previous CEO, who despite his shortcomings was widely respected and viewed as an approachable leader, the current leadership feels much more removed from employees. There was once a stronger sense that executives understood and were connected to the day-to-day experiences of the workforce. Today, that connection feels significantly diminished, leaving many employees with the impression of a growing divide between the C-suite and the people doing the work. Honestly, it's quite sad what has happened to Cambia.
