      Nice people. Decent salary and benefits.

      Cons

      The creepy CEO and his superpowers obsessed sidekick are full of bs. This company is relentless in (the appearance of) "equity" "inclusion" and "safe spaces". But when it comes down to layoffs, they're cold, callous, and very unsafe. They say you're an essential team member, but in the end, you're just a salary on a balance sheet. Been through this before, but never in such a cold, heartless fashion.

      Truly disrupted non-fiction book publishing in North America in a way that delivered valuable books that otherwise would not have been made by the conventional industry giants.

      Cons

      Grew so fast that the kind of balance was not achieved to enable a longer independent run; was acquired by the largest book publisher in North America.
