Pros
Only pros are the mission of service to LGBTQ+ patients
Cons
Where to start? I worked here for years as a provider and was treated horribly by my supervisor-basically every issue was met with “oh that sounds really hard” with no changes made. No raises other than union cost of living raise which is usually 2-3%. If you are anything other than positive at all times and have legitimate complaints about how the practice is run-you get spoken to you about your attitude, particularly if you are female identified. 15 minute visits for all patients (including physicals and new patients). Very complicated patients with zero back up from management. No help with filling out forms. I’ve literally had to call other doctors offices for record because medical records says “that isn’t our job.” Patients have lunged at me and threatened me and management has done nothing. All of the providers here are very unhappy leaving in droves. Women identified providers are treated much worse than cis male counterparts. Everyone will be very nice in the hiring process and once you are in all of your concerns will be dismissed.
