Pros

Was a warm and welcoming environment at first. Free snacks and at your own pace.

Cons

But with the amount of people who quit in my department in 2025 alone, workload became overwhelming and pay was not worth it even with quarterly commission. When I started, estimators handled 50-60 files to when I left we were handling 180-200 files. Nothing was done by management to alleviate pressure and workload. I would stay after hours our of choice just to make sure I wasn’t behind. No recognition for going above and beyond and instead management asks why our numbers aren’t higher. Pay is lower than competitors. People talk behind your back and can’t confront others face to face when they have an issue. Some upper management has some emotional outbursts and have witnessed one lash out in an emotional episode. Micromanaged with 24/7 audio and visual surveillance.

Pros

-Upper and middle management always receptive to ideas to improve operations and office culture. -Clear expectations and KPIs for me to succeed. -Training, training, more training. I knew nothing about what CWF does before I started and we learn from each other everyday. -Teams within teams: the company operates as one large team for a common goal and departments assist each other when needed. -Managers have an open door policy if my supervisor can’t assist. -Incentives: bonuses are paid every month and/or quarter when my goals are met or exceeded. -Great office space and amazing break room with a salad bar, smoothie bar, and stocked fridge with sandwiches all free to employees, coffee and energy drinks too. -Did I mention free coffee? -Nerf gun “wars” on Friday afternoons for anyone that wants to participate (not my thing but fun to watch!) -Catered lunch monthly. -Great benefits plus 401k match. -Management looks at current employees to promote when positions open rather than immediately hiring from outside.

Cons

-Workload during storm events increases but so far it doesn’t last too long. -I have to get back to my gym routine again with unrestricted access to this break room.😅
