Pros
Decent benefits is about the only thing.
Cons
No family life/work balance. Not flexible at all. Unreasonable metrics expectations. Management turns over every year or two, with new managers having an ego trip. Very low retention Gridlocked into the role you get hired into for UR as they are always short staffed you can't ever go anywhere else. Mandatory holidays They just started making weekends mandatory. Also making a night rotation mandatory for any nurse hired after October 2024. Remote into your station to monitor your screen for a period of time for any violations of heart at work behaviors or anything else the manager has an ego trip about. Talking to a coworker on teams and venting - that is not exhibiting heart at work behaviors - FIRED Taking too long in a case or mindlessly clicking around in the clinical for too long - FIRED.
