Pros
Almost all pros cease to exist.
Cons
The company operates very much like a good-old-boys club. Certain long-term employees are allowed to behave unprofessionally without accountability, largely because leadership remains blindly loyal to them. Their resistance to change, and leadership’s fear of confronting it, prevents the company from evolving and reaching its full potential.
The culture suffers as a result. Instead of embracing improvement, some legacy employees actively undermine those who bring new ideas or challenge the status quo. Behaviors such as misinformation, intimidation, and exclusion are tolerated to push out anyone perceived as a threat. The organization has real strengths and real potential, but meaningful progress is unlikely until leadership addresses the internal dynamics holding it back.
