Pros

Some nice people to work with, but bad management is a problem.

Cons

Employees do not get paid their carry-over vacation from the previous year when separating from the company. CSC has cut expenses and in doing so they have cut out paying their employees their vacation pay due them when the vacation was accrued in the previous year. See below: CSC HR policy on Employee Separation and in section 5.2 Final Paychecks it says the following: 5.2 Final Paychecks 5.2.1 Separating employees will be paid for actual hours worked and accrued vacation balance value, not including carry-over paid vacation balance except in cases of reduction in force, in accordance with applicable laws.

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Cons

Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
