Pros

- New president of company is previous VP of Sales - Promotes internally - values employees - Strong sales incentives programs - makes selling fun! - New local training department - also promoted from within (Director of L&D was a Sales Director) - Regular volunteer opportunities - Freedom/flexibility in outside sales role - Expenses, phone, iPad - Work hard, make money

Cons

- Internal processes can be cumbersome, but continually getting better. With the VP of Sales as President I am sure he will help to improve. - It takes a while to gain a great understanding of how our business works. There was a disconnect between training Dept and Sales reps. However, again, I expect with a Sales Director as Director of L&D this will vastly improve. - Avaialble territories may not be ideal for where you live. Make sure to learn about the office you will be reporting from and assess how well you will like the assigned territory. If you are hoping for a different territory in the future, speak up. Upper Management will listen.

Ability to work independently. Company has a large presence in the industry

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Not a lot of communication amongst departments. Support when there are customer issues is not strong.
