Pros

Only recommended for people with cero english, and so desperate for getting a job.

Cons

This is difficult because there are so many cons. This is a company with no processes, methodologies, and control. So be prepared to get requirements in a high level or not so clear, if you can get them. They don't have a clear scope on each project or release, so everything is developed along the way. They are trying to implement "Agile methodology", but at the end managers and some employees ending doing everything like the old school way, similar like when you were doing your final projects at the university, and this is because there are a lot of people there who are against any new changes (methodologies, technologies, processes, etc.). There is no control with the code versions caused because they don't have good tools to manage this, so it is very usual they overwrite code, and functionalities that were working before are not working anymore, and then it is necessary to do in every deployment an extensive regression testing. As this is a "family" company, it is normal to see toxic and lazy employees which are good friends of some managers, so they are very protected by them and do whatever they want, but if a contractor does or say something wrong or inappropriate is fired immediately. They don´t invest in good tools or technologies, so you won´t learn a lot of stuff that are being demanded at the IT market and it is complicated to grow professionally there. Be careful with the concepts they usually use to refer to something, because a lot of them are incorrect, so if you apply for a new job in another company they will look at you in a strange way, if you have luck.

Pros

No English needed (if you consider this as a pro). It's a good example of how not to treat developers or handle a company.

Cons

0 recognition, 0 proceses, 0 improvement No career plans (I approved 3 time the test to promove from jr to full and I was never promoted). A lot of Seniors by name but getting paid as Jrs. Managers with no technical skills (or skills at all) Stupid excuses regarding why they are ao outdated. Fear of change. They bluff a lot about CONTPAQi values but when it comes to negociante your salary, there are no values any more. If you are different minded and they realize that, you're instantly fired. A lot of secretism about management decisions. They're always pointing and blaming instead of looking for solutions. If you say anything that annoys a friend of the manager, guess what... You're fired. They force you to sign voluntary resignation even when they are firing you. Not every one gets annual salary adjustment (if you get one... They make you to keep it as secret) This is a company that makes money by selling software but developers have very low salary. They have "punctuality bonus" better called delay punishment. Lots of extra hours, for which you're not getting paid. Lots of useless meetings with management where they are supposedly asking your opinion but at the end they do whatever they want no matter what's the best decision. In a nutshell... It's a mafia

Pros

All the company development team is on same place, so is easy to find help from any team. Good enough benefits(Not the best ...just average). Human Resources oriented to employee Stability Really good workplace, most of the people is friendly

Cons

Obsolete development methodologies. Most of the systems are based on 'desktop' installation architecture. There are a really few components based on web/cloud. As example: Databases are stored on client computer not cloud not servers at all. Yes, it depends completely on client infrastructure mostly just a personal computer is good enough to achieve this task. Fully Dependency on "Installshield" for almost all projects. It creates really isolated systems. It's not a good place to innovate or contribute trying to implement new methodologies because most of managerial doesn't have a technical background and is prety much hard to comunicate improvements properly. It's not the right place to get a global experience since is a very local company. Development offices are only located on Guadalajara. All remaining offices are fully dedicated to bussiness deals. Most of development teams are using pretty old IDE's. English is not a common language. They mentioned on open positions as desirable but the reality is that you don't needed at all not even for documentation. So is not a good place to get experience if you want to be part of a global company later.
