Pros

Coworkers are passionate about technology, and everyone loves being surrounded by others in the same boat. There are so many different departments within CNET that cover different facets of tech, that a good employee has the opportunity to prove themselves, then move around the company to try new things. One of the best things: Benefits are practically cadillac grade. AWESOME (and I miss it dearly)

Cons

Since being purchased by CBS, a little more of that big company bureaucracy continued to creep in. Raises and promotions are sometimes only aided by your insistence of them. Pay is... so-so.

Pros

- The people at CNET are some of the kindest and smartest I've ever worked with - Opportunity to grow/carve your own career path, as long as you're willing to put in the work - Team members at all levels are encouraged to have a voice and contribute to the bigger picture

Cons

- Change is constant and can get exhausting - Can be disorganized/all over the place (but I will say has made strides in this area over the years) - Significant workload, especially during certain times of year (September around Apple Announcement, Holiday/Q4) - if you don't like jobs that keep you busy then this is probably not the company for you
