Pros
None. There is no training and managers will not help you. They will tell you you do “nice work” but if you threaten their egos by doing too well you will get fired.
Cons
CML Security can be an incredibly frustrating place to work, and I feel compelled to share my experience. The lack of proper training is one of the most glaring issues. When I started, I was thrown into my role without adequate guidance or resources, leaving me feeling unprepared and overwhelmed. It’s disappointing to see a company that doesn’t invest in its employees’ development.
Communication from management is another significant problem. They often fail to provide clear instructions or feedback. I found it particularly disheartening when management would praise my work one moment, only to turn around and terminate my employment without any explanation. It felt arbitrary and left me questioning my abilities and the company’s values.
The management team appears to have large egos, and they seem uncomfortable with well-qualified individuals in their ranks. If you don’t fit into their inner circle, be prepared for a hostile work environment. There’s a palpable sense of favoritism, and it’s clear that if you’re not part of the clique, you might as well be invisible. Overall, I cannot recommend CML Security as a place to work, especially if you value a supportive and fair workplace culture.
