Pros
This job is not stressful. The management of CMI does not micromanage their staff, which is a positive thing. Employees' FT hours are guaranteed, but occasionally staff have the opportunity to work OT.
The most interesting aspect of the job is the enforcement of the strata bylaws and rules outlined by the strata corporation regarding resident conduct and behaviour. Investigating, writing, and submitting Bylaw Violation Reports to the Strata Property Manager is one of the responsibilities of this job role.
You will get to know a variety of people while working in the condo buildings.
Cons
Depending on where you are posted, the Strata Council members can be hard to please at times. CMI does not give annual bonuses. Nor do they have annual hourly wage revisions. There is no annual company dinner either.
