CM Heating Response
2yDear Author,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, and we totally understand why you are upset and concerned. It’s unfortunate, but many HVAC companies in the PNW are having a much slower late summer/early fall than expected. This September - for reasons out of our control - we have had significantly fewer installation calls than the prior year. This reality unfortunately put the company in a position where we were over staffed.
We absolutely hate performing layoffs, but understand that no matter how we feel about it, it’s still much harder for the co-worker who is being let go. When we do have to make these decisions - which are always difficult - we try as best we can to be objective in our decision making process. It sounds like your position may have been one that was removed, and we’d like you to know that the decision wasn’t an easy one. We love our coworkers, but are unfortunately bound by some basic economic principals that most companies run by. If the business is losing money, it’s not going to be able to employ anyone for long. And so we had to make some very difficult choices to right-size the business.
We are genuinely sorry that this action has impacted you, and are taking measures on our end to avoid actions like this in the future as best as possible. For now, we wish the author the very best of luck going forward and thank them for their service and hard work to CM Heating.
