-sometimes the startups are far from an MVP

- Strong mission. - Some leadership has good intentions. - Teams are generally committed and hardworking.

- Lack of transparency around layoffs and career advancement. - Layoffs happened with little warning or explanation, and I noticed that employees who asked questions about transparency were sometimes let go in the following months. - Over a 3–6 month period, every Black employee in roles similar to mine across multiple locations was let go. - Teams got smaller while workloads increased, leading to burnout and an ongoing sense of instability. - Salaries tend to be below industry standards.
