Pros

Flexible working arrangements: accomodating to an individual's availabilities regardless of your occupation (student etc.) Supportive buy-in from management: any small initiatives to improve the shop's day to day operations are speedily considered and reviewed from time to time. Culture: If done and managed right, employees can form special bonds over time.

Cons

Severe lack of due process: management doesn't recognize employees' rights to be informed of unsatisfactory performance, to be provided opportunities to defend themselves, and to improve before a termination/dismissal takes place. Deteriorating employee welfare: Operating with an unspoken rule of allocated lunch breaks (may not get to have any if the shop is too busy). Irrational roster scheduling with insufficient rest days to get by. No explanations/reassurances provided to current employees when someone gets terminated/dismissed thus brewing economic insecurities over one's own fate on the shop floor. Avoidant communication style when employees' performances are not up to expectations; no avenue for two-sided communication to take place. Non-competitive salary rate: $6.50/hour on weekdays & $7.50/hour on weekends; below-market rate for an encompassing and rigorous job scope.

Aucun si ce n’est garder la forme en faisant parfois 18 kilomètres à pieds par jours.

Cons

Mépris, salaire ne permettait que la survie, utilisé comme agent corvéable et remplacer si il pensait.

Pros

bien desservi en transport en commun, bonne ambiance des équipes, possibilité de faire des astreintes, salles de pause disponibles et bien équipées dans chaque bloc

Cons

comme tout chu charge de travail importante, dépassement des horaires pas rare, les infirmiers des blocs froids sont souvent sollicités pour remplacer dans le bloc des urgences où ils sont souvent amenés à faire des spécialités lourdes qui dépassent leurs compétences
