Thanks for the feedback. I’m pleased that you identified with our cause at CFIB. Small business owners have really struggled this past year and I have been so impressed with how our team has responded with advice and support. We’ve just completed Zoom meetings with our teams across most provinces, and staff are consistently reporting how proud they are to work for CFIB at this critical time.
I’m sorry that it appears your pay expectations were not met. The District Manager job is not always an easy one and needs to be treated as a full-time role. While things were particularly challenging over the past year (due to the need to contact business owners virtually for several months), I am proud to report that nearly 15,000 small business owners made the decision to buy a paying membership during the pandemic. With the unprecedented awareness and interest in CFIB, this certainly helped us attract new members despite the challenging economic times.
While serving our members is our main focus, our entire senior management team is committed to making CFIB a great place for staff to work and earn a good living. I believe we do a really solid job of that, but I am always looking for input from current (and former) staff along the way. Thanks for writing.
