Pros
Members on different teams became real friends-- there was a great camaraderie in the midst of chaos. The events that were put on were pretty good but the happenings behind the scene were terrifying. It was a good stepping stone in my career and I did learn a lot about event management, marketing, sales, etc.
Cons
They seem to hire young college grads and take advantage of their want to succeed. It was a constant reminder to these 'younger employees' that this place is NOT your typical workplace environment. Sketchy things happen behind the scenes and there is real 'boys club' vibe with upper management. Through the toxicity-- you learn who to trust and who to help along the way Clients are sent false information regarding event/sponsor attendees which was so disheartening to even be a part of. My moral compass was questioned at this company while being asked to do things I didn't want to partake in. Event attendees and sponsors (even big ones) were always led astray. It was a horrible feeling. They tried to push the 'happy culture' on employees which could only go so far in the midst of the unhealthy and toxic behaviors and attitudes.
