Pros
CDI has many good people and several divisions that if done right could offer good careers. However, the new leadership makes decisions without understanding the business, mostly based upon on the decades old EDS model. The CEO's only job outside of EDS at Invensys lasted less than 2 years but she relocated the 100 year old Foxboro Massachusetts company HQ to her home in Texas. That is how she makes decisions. In her first year she has massively restructured CDI with her old EDS friends and apparently has no intention of moving to Philadelphia so it looks like an encore. If we are lucky she will again not make 2 years.
Cons
You pay considerably more for your benefits package than CDI does. There is now zero trust at the company thanks to the new leadership, style and lack of visibility at HQ. She cleaned house but mostly put in her old colleagues who haven't developed any trust and the consensus is that they will all be gone with her within the year. That could be a blessing.
