Pros
I wasn't there long enough to come up with this.
Cons
I had an interview with them. It went find. Nothing out of the ordinary. They offer me the position later the same day, without checking any of my reference. I asked if I was going to receive an offer letter. They said they didn't do offer letters that they will send me to the text. I accepted the position at a lower rate than we discussed. They wanted me to start the same day, but I couldn't due to my current job. (That was a Wednesday). I offered to come in a few hours and do their Employees Rough Draft prior to being put on payroll. I also came in the Saturday before to meet with them and go over things too. (Off the clock). I felt good about it, but when we started interviewing people for a positions they were misclassifying employee's classification. They said employees like to be 1099 contractor. I explained the guidelines and rules and regulations. On Sunday evening I got a call and they wanted to change the agreement that I was going to be a regular employee to independent contractor. They liked my skill sets but wanted to do the first 90 days as a trial base to see if they like me or like them. I kept declining. There are several things I saw that were not in compliance with the Labor Laws with the short time I "volunteered" my time there. I was also told there were PTO and then told there wasn't. Only 5 holidays.
