Pros

Like many non-profits the mission is great. That's where it stops.

Cons

-You're not working to help kids. Your working to stay out of the way of the people who train people to help kids. And sometimes that's a good thing. -Reviews will tell you the management here is atrocious, unprofessional and vindictive (and all that's true). -But the true problem here is the board. It's fat and happy, asks very little questions and indirectly condones emotional abuses of staff and some state officials. -You will 'never' get your concerns elevated to a level where someone can address them. -If you last more than 18 months you will be setting a record.

Pros

Flexible, supportive work environment. Meaningful work. Dynamic statewide network.

Cons

A lot of travel. There is a large, statewide network, which can be challenging to navigate.
