Pros
Plenty of units who consistently need extra nursing assistants and HUCs. Desperate units will give you an extra $8.75 an hour (in blocks of 4 hours each) if you work above your status
Cons
Disgusting pay "policies" such as if you are late or leave early on any extra shift you will lose all bonuses that week. If you are not liked they will find a way to get rid of you unless you know how to divert the problems. Some floors treat support nursing as inferior and worthless. If you want an administration job you literally have to wait until the whole succession retires or dies off.
