Pros

Having flash backs to the 1990's where companies thought being Jack of all trades but master of none was the way to sell!!!!

Cons

The Short List developed over 5+ years- No one can answer the potential clients question of what can you do great and prove to me that you did it. Executive Management does not understand what our client's and the market's challenges are and building solutions to solve them. They would rather have quarterly corporate meetings to showcase their ideas of what is needed without speaking with the current customers and future clients. Senior Management do not know how to lead nor are skilled in developing internal talent that they hired. Every group is an island and they do not play nice in the sand box. Executive and Senior management need to actually go to a client meeting: 1) Get a grasp of what the client's challenges are 2) Understand how our competitors are solving these issues to win the business 3) Understand how selling to the market and how the market wants to be sold to 4) Develop a quick, easy tool for team members to reference to understand past performance of core service offerings

Pros

- Opportunity to work on interesting, high-impact projects. - Flexible work environment that supports work/life balance. - Many talented and knowledgeable colleagues across the organization.

Cons

- Leadership dynamics can feel misaligned, particularly when less experienced teams are driving decisions that impact more tenured professionals. - Career growth feels unclear and, at times, unattainable without the "right" visibility or relationships. - Cross-functional friction is common, and navigating disagreement does not always feel supported or safe. - Compensation and advancement do not consistently reflect market expectations or individual contributions. - Organizational priorities can feel disconnected from the day-to-day experience of employees.
