Pros
- Team culture is great here with many teams seeing each other socially, not just at work. - The salary packages are generally considered good in the industry and different departments work with commission schemes or profit share which boosts things, too. This seems to incentivise good results - You can have really rewarding experiences with customers throughout the year by engaging with them onsite which you don't always get the chance to do in many departments in other companies within the industry. Often you are left in the office but not here
Cons
Not many, to be honest... - Working hours can seem a challenge to anyone outside the industry but compared to many companies they are very reasonable. Nobody wants to work you to death here, they'd rather you did your work in your normal hours. That said, we are an events business and we go the extra mile to deliver our events, to travel internationally, etc so best to bear that in mind if you want a 9-5 desk job - A smaller company can seem to have less opportunities for progression than larger companies but I guess it depends on what culture you prefer. I like it here as you get more responsibility and the chance to step up earlier which is great
