Extremely good management team Excellent sales training and training was a major focus Fairly generous commission structure Good benefits Excellent support staff to help sales team execute and turn around quotes quickly Active ownership that walks the walk and provides a good example Excellent place to sharpen your skills or to settle in for the long haul Very quick at turning around expense reports and don’t penny pinch when it comes to trade shows and travel

Cons

company is one of the smallest companies operating in a very competitive space No HR at the company There is an extensive amount of travel involved Sales cycle ebbs and flows quite a bit throughout the year. Limited career advancement opportunities past the role of territory management There are many different product lines to learn which doesn’t lend well to specialization

Pros

ByteSpeed is a very generous and caring company with a management team that truly cares about employees and customers alike. Employees can cross-train or move across departments, and teams are very supportive and encouraging - no drama is a huge perk. Everyone works together toward mutual goals, and rewards and incentives are offered company-wide regardless of job position.

Cons

It can be overwhelming keeping up with all the new technology partners and products that ByteSpeed offers.

Pros

This company treats both their customers and their employees with respect. They talk about their core values of honesty and integrity and then back that up. This is a great place to work.

Cons

If you're looking for a large corporate environment where you can climb up the ladder, you will be disappointed in the family like environment here. That said, they are very good at finding the right role for a particular employee. For example you might start in one department and have an opportunity to move to another if you work hard. They are very open to allowing people to explore new opportunities.
