      Pros

      so many opportunities to get involved with the company, going on trips to see how the food is made - an insane amount of effort is put into making you feel a part of the company and into showing you everything about it so you know all the inner workings and everything, no one is left out, everyone is made to feel a part of the main body and mission of Butternut Box. Everyone is so friendly - even working remotely, the positivity and warmth from everybody is so visible. There is a genuine care that stems from everyone that works here and it was very obvious from the first day. They took such care in the onboarding that I learnt so much and felt more passionate about my job after learning all these things I never knew. Just altogether a really lovely place to work.

      Cons

      Only con is where I am remote we do miss weekly opportunities that happen at the office e.g. the breakfasts, the games, etc but that obviously comes with being remote.

      Pros

      The culture at Butternut Box and Marro is really good - there is a great team spirit, and the business loves to celebrate wins, which makes for a highly positive and rewarding working environment. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is deeply woven into the company, with a strong focus on driving awareness across all teams. Additionally, the business actively encourages continuous learning and career development. Depending on your role, they also offer a great hybrid model with a mix of in office and wfh days, allowing for excellent flexibility.

      Cons

      The work-life balance fluctuates significantly depending on the time of year and specific project deadlines in my particular department. Additionally, it is a fast-paced working environment which may not suit some people.

      It’s a truly mission-driven company, with genuine love for dogs and cats and a strong focus on customers. There is a lot of respect and care within the company, as we genuinely live by our values. There is real ambition and drive to deliver the best possible product all over the world.
