Pros
I’ve gained several close peers who I’m happy to call friends.
Cons
No work life balance. Management is awful, they can’t help you because many are not qualified and do not possess the skills to be a manager of any kind. If your manager has it in for you, you can bet they’ve slandered you to EVERYONE, but to your face they act like your biggest fan. Completely unprofessional. F-bombs drop constantly in meetings even by management. Your job description? Yeah it’s a lie, you’ll end up getting 5 people’s roles combined and now you are responsible without proper training. Policies change hourly. If you are member services, you are treated completely differently than any other employee. Your time in member services does NOT count towards anything. So frustrating. No point in being a top performer, because they don’t even give 1% in annual reviews. Nepotism is crazy! Very clique-like. It’s worse than high school, the drama is crazy. I would avoid working here unless you like being on a tiny leash and berated in huge settings. Such a disappointment. The owners are so out of touch with the company and what is truly going on. HR is horrible. They don’t do anything. They do not help solve problems no, they just fire you and not listen to a word you (who is not management) says. Even with proof it’s like breathing underwater, you’ll just drown.
