Pros
BTG leadership is extremely accessible, transparent, and open to suggestions. They really want everybody to thrive and feel like they are adding value to the company. Employees who step up receive a great deal of investment. Most positions provide a great opportunity to learn about a variety of industries and functions within business. I worked on a small team, and learned a lot from them in terms of professionalism, communication, and understanding the business landscape. Strong blend of professional and fun office culture. Growing fast but still feels like a small company (this can be good and bad -- scrappy solutions are welcome and people aren't married to their job descriptions, but you have to be ready for processes to feel improvised)
Cons
Although you are exposed to lots of business types, BTG's work is peripheral, so employees only develop a second-hand understanding of the consulting work. There is room to grow at BTG, but general job descriptions do not change very much with title progression. Much of the work is administrative. High turnover of younger staff in the offices.
