Pros
BMT was a great company all around. Was sad to leave but they will always remain family! They constantly check in with the employees and try to set goals with them in regards to certifications (which they will pay for) or just something the employee wants to get their hands on. Perfect example, i wanted to get familiar with Cisco ASA's and they ended up purchasing one for the office so the employees can play with it and learn to configure one even though our clients don't use them. BMT works hard but they also play hard, they are sure to reward their employees at the end of a hard week with pizza, cake or even an afternoon out to Thatcher McGee's. Great company to start off with and get your hands on, they will help you every step of the way.
Cons
- Field Engineers should be given equipment to make sure every job gets completed. Although we receive a nice MicroCenter discount, equipment such as toners, tool kits, hard drive docks, etc are self provided. - BMT being a small-mid size company, you eventually hit a wall when it comes to advancements although they keep you busy with new projects and ideas for new clients
