Pros

I have been with this company since inception and could not have asked for a better work environment. Being a startup, I had to initially pitch in with varied tasks across multiple departments, which in turn led to acquisition of a wide variety of skill that would not have been possible in a lot of other companies. CEO is extremely encouraging. He values initiative and provides all the tools necessary to excel. He clears the field of irrelevant busy work and enables you to focus and accomplish your goals. Very receptive to feedback. We've had several updates to processes and facilities due to employee feedback. Employee training is thorough with high emphasis on job safety. Work atmosphere is laid back; as long as the work is done and safety measures adhered to, people can be as easygoing as they desire. Employees are encouraged to take regular breaks to stretch their legs and recharge their batteries.

Cons

With company growth, facility space is getting scarce. Management has an expansion scheduled, which should take care of this issue.

Pros

Fair salary and benefits Warm, friendly, and competent management Interesting product line that never stops growing

Cons

Can be lonely at times, not many chances to grow relationships or engage with teammates (typical of many remote positions, you may enjoy this) It's a small team, which means you'll take on responsibilities that may be out of your wheelhouse - everybody wears a lot of hats. This isn't ALWAYS a con though, you'll learn and grow here.

Pros

It was local; the health care was OK.

Cons

Sub-poverty level wages, but high requirements; small staff of only 2-3 paid employees and the owner's "slave"; strict, inflexible hours; verbally and physically abusive, incompetent, "scam artist" owner; no remote options. Avoid working for this employer at all costs. It will be a waste of your time; you won't receive even close to competitive compensation or any worthwhile work-experience. The owner is equivalent to a used car salesmen, who initially brags about all of the wonderful things about his organization, but is really just masking how terrible it is. He is creepy, bipolar, insecure, disorganized, and uneducated, and never showers. He regularly verbally and physically abused his Partner in front of the employers, including locking him in a vault, locking him outside of the facility, and literally twisting his arm. His daily verbal insults to his employees were often stated as being "just jokes". He advertises the "team" as a "close-knit, fun group", and the few (2-3) actual employees are a nice group for the most part, but he is a nightmare to work with, and workers only stay there for a couple of weeks to months before he either "blows up" or his employees quit.
