Pros

High visibility in the Asian travel market. Plenty of opportunities to go on tour observations in the marketing department. Fairly nice people working in the company.

Cons

There's very little consistent management from basically every level. The nepotism and corruption runs rampant within the company despite efforts to reduce it (old habits die hard, especially within Vietnam). There's very little in the way of unified direction, which feels like it should be key given how quickly the company has expanded to other countries. It feels like a very transparent bid to squeeze as much money out of the operation as possible, which often means pushing out products before they are ready or tested properly. The corporate overlord that is Flight Centre are a flimsy shell for unadulterated greed, which is unfortunate given that Buffalo Tours could lead responsible travel in the region if top level management in Flight Centre would care about much else than to line their pockets.

Pros

• Great working environment, everyone is really young and playful • You can wear your casual clothes to work (depend on the department) • Good benefit (travel oversea, birthday, lucky money...) • Opportunity to test the company products (seaplane, cruise ship, hotel, tour)

Cons

• Bureaucratic, hierarchical organization structure. You really need to get in to the higher up good sides for everything to go smoothly in your working life, faster promotion and such. If you dare to go against it, you will get unfair treatment, and there is nothing you can do about it. • The C-level management always try to force their relatives into working here and no one can go against it. Good people was fired because of this. • Really low salary for Vietnamese locals • The working culture here is horrendous. Nothing is flexible, tons of policy in the working process which makes everything tedious. • Everything is about profits and sales. It is extremely strict and tough.
