Pros

Weekly pay, decent benefits, paid time off is average after your second anniversary. There are a few good people in mid-management to work for/with still trapped in this company.

Cons

Communication is terrible. Compensation for most everyone outside of higher management positions is below average. Route computers are old and often break. They're just repaired and reused, we can't get new equipment. Raises either don't happen, or don't keep up with the increase in the cost of living. Friends and family are first pick for any new job or promotion. There has been a push towards building a more "lean" company. It was needed, but they went too far. We're lean to a point now where quality of work, sales volume, and employees suffer. If you take a day off don't expect someone to fill in and do your work for you, they'll do the bare minimum and leave the rest for you to catch up on later. Incentives and commissions are a joke. Management gets their bonus, plus prizes and trips for achieving certain goals. Knowledge gained from experience and historical analysis should drive promotions, marketing and the efforts of our sales force. Instead we waste time making sure we sell in some low volume product so a manager can get a prize. The company wants people on commission to all earn about the same thing, which defeats the whole purpose of commission. We usually have a meeting each year where the CEO blames the company's problems on the economy and the government. Neither have been great for a beverage company lately, but Buffalo Rock isn't going to make a huge impact on the economy or government. There are lots of opportunities for improvement inside the company and the focus should be there.
