Pros

some good coworkers that fun to work with

Cons

It is horrible place to work. It is slave labor and underpaid employees that work long hours standing for 10 hours on their feet. After a while your hands start hurt so bad that you cant sleep at night. Management is uneducated white trash that never gives any feed back. Everything is done behind your back, so basically if you don't kiss their rear they will get rid of you, not to mansion they don't like people of different ethnics and backgrounds. Almost half of their employees dating each other and so much infidelity going on from people including the management. They will use you for their benefit making you work 50 or more hours a week for 15 months, than when they not doing great because their plans failed they will get rid of you and keep new people or lazy that don't say nothing against their stupid business skills. There is more managers and supervisors than actual workers that doing nothing and draining company accounts.

Pros

Working at Buck has been a tremendous joy. I love all the people I work with and have great repore with other departments. We are continuously working together to tackle issues that come up, to make everybody's job easier and avoid any problems downstream in the manufacturing process. We have an amazingly diverse workforce, with differing skill sets and experience, but we all come together to make industry leading knives and cutlery. We have an excellent benefits package, employee discount and employer matching 401K. I absolutely adore our products and love telling people that I work at Buck Knives. We are American made and I wouldn't have it any other way! I wake up in the morning excited to go to work and to tackle the next challenge. I love working at Buck and God willing, I will stay here until retirement.

Cons

Pay is the only thing I can complain about, but I also haven't been here that long. I know that when the time comes for a raise, I will be paid what I am worth. Other than the pay, there are no cons working for Buck. Except the employee discount. I've spent quite a bit of money in our store because we get an amazing employee discount and I just can't help myself but to buy more knives! 🙂
