Pros
In Lowell at least the people are great. The local management is great. I worked with many great people all trying to make the company better. The marine industry is very interesting. Customers want products that work and increase their enjoyment. Navico has neat products.
Cons
Very caustic culture. Money over people. Self congratulatory management. Many layoffs caused by poor management decisions. I left voluntarily which was one of my best decisions. No cohesion amongst business units. Constantly changing priorities. The most egregious act I witnessed was a layoff on Friday then Monday a large management conference where they handed out awards to each other for doing such a great job. Shameful.
