Pros
There is free, unadulterated milk.
Cons
Where to begin? I will intro by supporting the below comment about bogus positive reviews. Particularly in the past few months, as it was made an executive priority to get employees to post them. When they didn’t, ownership took matters into their own hands. And I would say it was understated, wouldn’t you? E.g. “no cons come to mind”? “fortunate to work here”? and my personal favorite CON: “a realistic expectation that every employee should work hard to do their job and get it done”. This was presented as a CON. WELCOME TO BROWNE. Where the milk [and the abuse] is free! #TitForTat Where you take a day off and suddenly become public enemy #1 upon your return [“because vacations are for pigs”]. #InspiringBrowneQuotes Where there are laughable policies, decided on the impulsive whims of the owner, such as limiting your odor-inducing visits to the restrooms. #Browne-stipation Where you are not ‘encouraged’ [aka allowed] to wear headphones while working [in an open concept office]. #BrownePolicyNotPolicy Where, instead of investing in the company, its products and its people, ownership spends time finding artful ways to drive (i.e. force) employees, and even partners, out. #NaturalSelection Where you should say your goodbyes before leaving for a trade show because you may come back to an entirely different team. #ChangeIsGood Where you are regularly ‘inspired’ by ownership to review how much ‘better’ and more ‘creative’ other companies are. #Motivation Where core values of the entire organization are modeled after employee performance review criteria. #ThreatsAbound Where you are directly told by ownership that you are paid too much. #JobSecurity
