- Uncompetitive salary (10-20% lower then local scientific employers)
- Morale in the scientific departments is incredibly low, most people are looking to leave
- Staff turnover is higher than the company can replace and the few experienced staff left in the QC lab appear to be absolutely miserable and overwhelmed with stress.
- A culture of stress and putting too much work on people is the norm. If you try to say you have too much work you get palmed off with "talk to your line manager", who will either do nothing or interrogate you as to why you can't do something.
- The company falsely advertises a bonus scheme that they don't ever pay out.
- Progression is extremely limited and reserved for desperatation.
- A general feeling of abandonment at BLL when the company split into BLL/BNS. BLL had very little resource remaining and does not see any investment.
- 1:1s are almost pointless and sometimes feel as if they are going to be used against you. I never saw any action from my issues raised.
