Pros
Decent pay w/health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation days.
They do not micromanage your daily work.
Cons
Antiquated HR policies
Antiquated management styles
No PTO policy, just antiquated “use it or lose it” vacation hours, and sick days (that they don’t like you to use of course).
Horrible communication w/complete disregard for including employees in decisions that directly affect their daily jobs.
Lots of promises of improvements & changes to come that never materialize (literally told the same thing years in a row and still waiting)
No proper company/job training, documentation (SOPs, manuals, etc.), yet can’t comprehend the reasons for employee turnover.
“Random” policies that aren’t random.
Supervisors that kowtow to upper management rather than being supportive of their subordinates.
Lots of talk of supporting their employees and their needs (work/life balance, flexibility), but actions prove otherwise: see first Con listed.
Lots of talk of team, but rarely felt I had one.
