Pros

PTO Remote work from home Health Care Benefits 401 K Pediatric behavioral health

Cons

Brightline has been struggling for some time now with an unsustainable business model and it just seems to be getting worse and not better. Understandably, it is a difficult time to be a startup given the economic climate, however, management/leaderships' attempts to understand and resolve issues has been unsuccessful so far. Issues trickle down from the top and end up having the greatest negative impact on patient facing employees and patients/families. Brightline is misleading- it looks nice on the outside but the reality is unfortunately different. There are a few people in leadership/management who seem trustworthy and competent, but overall leaders/managers have bad communication, lack transparency, poor management skills, are inexperienced and inefficient, and continue to "miss the mark" on fundamental issues. As is often the case with rapid business growth, the burnout is real, culture/morale is low, and there is a shortage of cash to meet expansion costs. As a clinician, I do not stand by many of their business decisions to increase revenue & cut costs as these decisions are clinically unsound, unsustainable, and ultimately harm clinicians and patients. If you are considering a job at Brightline as a behavioral therapist, I would recommend you look elsewhere. The turnover is high across many departments and there are valid reasons for that.

Pros

Everyone has been so kind and supportive during the onboarding process. The trainings and learning opportunities from leadership will equip me with the skills and confidence needed to excel in my position!

Cons

Navigating the EHR system is confusing and not very user friendly.

Cons

>Disorganized systems >Racist inequitable treatment among employees of color >Lack of work/life balance >Lack of transparency >Completely incompetent management >Lack of accountability >Blatant favoritism >Unfair and unequal salaries for employees who work the same position and have equivalent credentials >Turnover rate is very high >Very deceptive and dishonest marketing. They dismiss negative reviews as reviews that are simply disgruntled employees who need to vent and say that for every negative review, "there are so many employees that have positive experiences". They want a higher glassdoor rating in order to encourage more applicants to apply to this dysfunctional company >The Brightline NY glassdoor page is a misrepresentation of Brightline as a company as a whole. This glassdoor page is titled"Brightline company in New York" only and suspiciously mostly has the highest ratings. >I urge you to go to the glassdoor page that is titled "Brightline" and has a 3.8 star rating which is a much more accurate representation of the "Brightline" experience. Most of the negative reviews accurately capture the ongoing negative issues that persist at Brightline
