Pros

- There are a lot of challenges that the company needs to address and resolve but the people are brilliant - the highs can match the lows - High attrition means that progression can be very quick - Able to develop a range of transferable skills, which benefits entry level applicants

Cons

- Salary is not competitive with unfair pay scales across the business, often these are hidden and management actively tries to stop people from discussing it - Workload is heavy to the point where overtime is no longer optional and burnout can last for months - Whilst I did not experience this first hand, I've seen many colleagues and friends pushed out of the company or get passed over for promotions due to personal reasons rather than their performance or capabilities - A big blame culture with departments trying to shift the fault when something goes wrong, also seen when people are blamed for not being a 'fit' to the company rather than acknowledging there could be some truth to the items they raise

Pros

Drinks fridge and sweets bowl

Cons

Have a clique of people that think they know best, but typically don't. Only bothered about said clique and they will do all they can to take opportunity away from you to give it to themselves.

Pros

My time at BYM in Derby has been nothing short of fantastic. The hybrid working model seamlessly blends productivity with flexibility. The company's commitment to recognising hard work has not only exceeded my expectations but has also opened up exciting opportunities for career progression over the past 10 years. Thriving in this dynamic sales environment while enjoying a balanced work-life equation is truly the essence of BYM]. Grateful for the journey and excited for what's to come!

Cons

While my experience at BriefYourMarket has been positive, it's essential to acknowledge a few areas that might be considered cons by some: Communication Challenges: Occasionally, there might be gaps in communication between teams and management. This can sometimes lead to delays or misunderstandings. Fast-Paced Environment: The energetic sales culture here can be demanding. For some, the fast-paced nature may require an adjustment period to find a comfortable rhythm. It's worth noting that these cons are subjective and might not be universally applicable.
