Pros

Remote work for most of positions in canada

Cons

Management does not care about how hard you work, at the end, if they dont want you they will just kick you out by saying they dont have any work atm by making fake promises that they will reconsider me if there is any position comes up later i will still be eiligible to apply. Unfortunately, there was position strongly aligning to my experience and i replied for that, they rejected saying my skill doent match, even though i have worked on same tech stack in same company. Manager does not have any knowledge and still he shows that he knows everything.

Pros

I love the people I work with. I’m constantly learning with every project, and I feel appreciated for my skills and talents. My boss is awesome and gives me a lot of freedom. He's friendly, open, honest, and a great mentor. I think he believes in my abilities more than I sometimes do, which pushes me to take on challenges that help me grow and be a valuable asset to the company. Our team is made up of generally happy people, which makes even the tough jobs feel manageable. I’ve also never worked on a brand I wasn’t excited about, which keeps the work feeling meaningful and fun.

Cons

- The emphasis on time tracking/timesheets creates constant stress around balancing billability and over-logging hours. - My role and responsibilities have grown but my compensation hasn't changed much over the last several years. - No bonuses.

Pros

Decent pay, good people, and remote company.

Cons

Layoffs about every 3 months. Leadership doesn’t disclose. You’ll be looking to reach out to someone about a project and find out they’re not even there anymore. Leadership and management provide little to no training/information yet expect you to perform as if you did. It’s actually very strange. Promotions only given to offshore team members. No culture - the culture is getting the company more money. Poor change management process, yet lots of changes.
