If you are working in direct service, be ready to hear difficult stories from people in the community. That can be heavy.

Many wonderful kids and parents. Good tech facility for high school students. Academic help available for middle school youth.

Unresponsive human resources, low wages, dishonest management that ignored my complaints of staff and student boundaries breached, disconnect between management and boots on the ground, new employees are treated unfairly, ingrained favoritism toward veteran staff, all youth not treated equally especially in high school program, mandatory staff meetings are a waste of time, high staff turnover, little room for advancement.
