Pros
I had a great experience overall at BNF. My internship was paid (surprisingly especially for a non-profit), the people are nice and passionate about what they do, and there are networking opportunities with documentary filmmakers who come and visit for talks and screenings.
Cons
Depending on the department you work in there may not be an ability for growth in the workplace. That wasn't a problem for me personally because I knew I wasn't going to be in L.A. after the semester
