Pros
The Salvage Association (SA) is as old as Lloyds. BRAEMAR, who bought the SA should theoretically be able to capitalize on the SA's tradition. The surveyor's role is very important and requires experience, training and thorough understanding of accident investigation and management. The job is very interesting.
Cons
BRAEMAR's politics don't allow to capitalize the value of the SA. Management with shortsighted goals, favoritism, lack of succession and training plan, drive qualified surveyors away.
