Pros
It is fulfilling to know the job you do helps to save lives and improve patients lives. That's one of the reasons to be excited coming into work each day. The ideas and products are top notch. Benefits are good, and constantly changing to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. The CEO is refreshing and one of us. He doesn't keep to the ivory tower, but instead is approachable and visible. He has a vision and for the past 5+ years it has worked. Company stock has grown well beyond market norms during that time.
Cons
The company operates in several business units, which doesn't allow for best practices to make it through the ranks. Collaboration is kept inside the BU's, when it should be shared company wide. Personnel seem to be split between, the "old" Boston Scientific and the "new"
