Pros
Great benefits package, FTE's receive 5 weeks off + holidays to start. I can only speak for the few departments I've worked in and with, but the people are professional and competent, yet laid back. My supervisors have all been great about the employee review process. There has been a lot of opportunity to grow within the hospital.
Cons
The location is terrible. The hospital is not only a pain to get to, but the area itself is not exactly safe. I don't like our HR department. In my experience with the initial hire and internal transfer, the process was a bigger pain that it had to be.
