Good job for young reporters

Pay is not the best

I developed a ton of valuable skills as a journalist, both inside and outside of my job description. Journalists working for Boone tend to develop into capable, well-rounded people. Also, personally speaking, I could not have asked for better co-workers.

The demands of journalism (particularly small-town journalism) often leads to young, talented people burning out far too quickly because too much is required of them.
