Great people, friendly atmosphere, awesome CEO & COO. Booktopia has people working for it who really care about books and can teach you so much about the industry. There is always an opportunity to grow within your role. I really enjoyed my time there.

Lidcombe can tricky to get to if you live on the other side of town, but parking is provided.

The original Booktopia team, before the recent management changes, was very friendly, supportive, and collaborative. The company culture used to be great (before management change), and the people within the tech team are genuinely helpful and hardworking.

- Unfortunately, Booktopia is not a great place to be if you are working in tech. In my experience, tech does not seem to be valued as a core part of the business. The focus is mostly on supporting the website and keeping things running, with very little recognition for the work the tech team does. - The overall strategy appears to lean more towards outsourcing rather than developing and hiring local tech talent. - I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before making that decision. you might end up wasting your time.
